Japanese Street Food Pop-Up

This Saturday, 20th August, the Ludlow Brewing Company will host a delicious-sounding Japanese street food pop-up. The brewery’s taphouse is based in a carefully converted railway shed. They offer some typical bar snacks all the time, but this is the first time they have hosted a Japanese pop-up.

Miniyaki‘s have been creating irresistible everyday dishes and Japanese street food items since 2013. Their cute caterpod has a Japanese festival vibe. You can expect dishes like Sweet Potato Korokke (v), Chicken Katsu Sauce Donburi and Hiyayakko Chilled Tofu (v, gf) based on their menus at previous events.

You can wash that delicious food down with some tasty Ludlow beers. The light, citrus character of their Blonde golden ale is sure to pair nicely with the menu. Their red ale Red Dawn might be a better choice to match the slight spiciness of the Katsu sauce.

This will be a fantastic day for food lovers across the county. The event is family-friendly and there is no charge for admission. Let me know in the comments below if you head on over. I want to know what the food is like ready for Miniyaki’s next event!
